Lindsay Bovill is an Australian writer of literary fiction and non-fiction. His writing focusses mainly on landscape & humanity, and the ways in which the two intersect. His ecoliterature investigates solastalgia, landscape interpretation, and the exploration of Australia’s remote places. He also writes special interest articles for various magazines. Lindsay has an upcoming book release with U.S. based publishing house 12 Willows Press.

Lindsay Bovill has contributed to globally distributed magazines on a variety of topics, including archery, palaeontology, flyfishing, and history. He also has a Substack blog called the Blackwood Creek Nature Blog, where he covers a broad range of interests and passions, including remote travel and environmental advocacy.

Lindsay Bovill is a regular contributor to The Backwoodsman Magazine, a U.S. Publication dealing with topics including outdoor skills, self sufficiency, frontier history and the outdoor lifestyle. His articles have covered a wide range of topics, including Theodore Roosevelt’s reading habits, arrow making, Australian explorer Charles Sturt, and an interview with esteemed U.S Western artist Clark Kelley Price.

Lindsays’ articles and short stories have also featured in the Australian fly fishing magazine Flylife, including a cover article about designing and making a trout fly from genuine Woolly Mammoth hair.
